SOCCER CAMP
Recreational Program
The RP9 Soccer Camp welcomes all players aged 4 to 16 — whether beginners or experienced — looking to develop their soccer skills. The camp is held three times a year: during the Christmas holidays, spring break, and summer vacation.
Before camp begins, please review the information below to ensure you fully understand the program’s rules and conditions. This step helps maintain a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for all participants.







Christmas Camp 2025-2026
The Christmas Camp takes place during the two-week winter break for elementary and high school students, from late December to early January. The camp runs Monday to Friday (see schedule for half-day and full-day options).
Each camp day focuses on a specific soccer theme, allowing players to develop a well-rounded set of skills in a structured, stimulating, and progressive environment.
Week 1 — 3 days
December 22 — full day (7:30AM to 5PM)

All personal items must be clearly labelled with the child's name.

Backpack
Full soccer kit (comfortable shirt, shorts, socks and shin pads)
Soccer cleats (turf or grass cleats)
Reusable water bottle
Essential medication (inhaler, EpiPen)
Change of clothes and running shoes
Swimming essentials (if the child wants to swim) : bathing suit, goggles and sandals for the walk to and from the pool

Meals and snacks are not provided. There is no available microwave or refrigerator on site.

A 35$ cancellation fee applies.
No refunds will be issued once the camp week has started (for any reason: absence, illness, weather, or injury).
A credit will be issued for unused days, which can be applied to another soccer program or transferred to a sibling.
Participants showing symptoms of illness (fever, cough, vomiting, etc.) will be sent home.
The camp reserves the right to suspend or cancel a registration if a participant’s behaviour disrupts camp activities.
The camp may take photos or videos for promotional purposes without additional consent.
Medical coverage is provided through the RAMQ.
The camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
The RL-24 tax receipts will be sent by email in February of the following year.
Summer Camp 2026
The 2026 Summer Camp will run for nine weeks, from June to August, Monday through Friday. Participants may choose between full-day (AM–PM) or or half-day (AM or PM) options. Each registration includes a free camp t-shirt per participant.
Weekly Program:
Every day starts with a 1 hour drop off period (at Marcel-Laurin Park), allowing campers to arrive and settle in, and parents to sign in their kids.
Daily activities combine technical training, games, competitions and downtimeCampers are grouped according to age and skill level in order to guarantee a well-adapted coaching style and optimal progression.
Monday – Athletic Development: The week starts with physical conditioning and coordination activities. Campers participate in age-appropriate exercises to improve agility, speed, strength, and endurance—all while having fun. The goal is to build a solid athletic foundation that supports soccer performance.
Tuesday– Core Technique: This day focuses on fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, and ball control. Through drills and small-sided games, players strengthen the essential basics needed for progress.
Wednesday – Attacking Play: Campers work on attacking strategies—shooting, combination play, creating chances, and decision-making in the final third. These concepts are practiced through small-sided matches and situational exercises.
Thursday – Defensive Play: Campers learn defensive principles such as positioning, marking, tackling, and team defense. The goal is to enhance ball recovery, tactical organization, and game awareness through individual and group activities.
Friday – Tournament & Fun Day: The week wraps up with a mini-tournament and fun challenges. It’s a chance to apply the week’s learnings in a spirit of teamwork and friendly competition. The day ends with a festive atmosphere celebrating everyone’s effort and progress.
A essential breaks will be taken for hydration, snacks and lunchtime.
Sessions are guided by various qualified and experienced coaches, who prioritize the safety and development of each individual player.
Weather permitting, water-based activities, like swimming, are an optional activity after lunch.

Important: Drop-off, pick-up, and the camp will take place at Marcel-Laurin Park, behind the Saint-Laurent Soccer Complex. Follow the exterior path on the right side (east side) of the Soccer Complex, leading to the park next to the cabin with the red roof.
In the event of weather-related issues the camp will take place at the Saint-Laurent Soccer Complex.

Directed by Rocco Placentino
Rocco Placentino served as the Sporting and Technical Directors of CS Saint-Laurent from 2012 to 2025 before transitioning to his current role as Strategic Advisor. Prior to his leadership position at the club, he enjoyed a distinguished international career: he played professionally in Italy for several clubs, represented Canada on the U20, U23 and Senior national teams, and also played for the Montreal Impact.
Drawing on his extensive experience, Mr. Placentino holds several high-level accreditations issued by the Canadian Soccer Association and Soccer Quebec: National B License (CSA); Children's Diploma (CSA); and Provincial Technical Director Diploma (SQ).
