SOCCER ADAPTE
Recreational Program
FIFA recently launched the Disability Football Toolkit, a resource designed to promote inclusion by making soccer accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities or reduced mobility. In that same spirit, CS St-Laurent is proud to announce the launch of its own Soccer Adapte program.
Participants will learn to:
Discover the ball
Make basic passes
Shoot on a large net
Dribble through obstacles
Complete motor-skills mini-courses
Participate in cooperative games
Play a simplified match
Develop communication and inclusion
Explore themed games
Take part in a final celebration
The program's objectives are:
- Promote soccer participation for every individual, regardless of physical, cognitive, or social abilities.
- Develop fundamental motor skills (running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance).
- Create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment.
- Offer an adapted progression toward recreational or competitive play, based on each participant’s abilities.
The program runs from Sunday, June 7 to August 30, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, over a 12-week period at Park Marcel-Laurin, Ville de Saint-Laurent – 2385 Boulevard Thimens, Saint-Laurent, QC, H4R 1T4. Please note that there will be a 1-week break during the summer, with the week to be determined.
The program details will be sent by email once registrations are completed.
