OUR U14 BOYS WIN BIG IN THE USA

Congratulations go out to CS Saint-Laurent’s U14 PLSJQ boys on winning the Target USA Cup, as part of the world’s largest youth soccer tournament held in Minnesota this past summer. The future of our homegrown soccer is bright.

CS SAINT-LAURENT TAKES ON THE PROS

Making their debut in the Canadian Championship, CS Saint-Laurent found themselves matched against the HFX Wanderers from the Canadian Premier League in the tournament's initial round. In a nail-biting encounter, they emerged victorious in penalty kicks, etching their name in history as the first semi-pro side from Quebec to conquer a professional club, thus securing their passage to the quarter-final phase.

Their next challenge loomed large in the form of MLS powerhouse, Toronto FC. The first leg of the quarter-finals was held at Centre Claude-Robillard, where a capacity crowd witnessed Saint-Laurent's valiant display of the beautiful game against one of the continent's elite clubs. Despite falling short, the team left an indelible mark on the grand stage. To quote TFC head coach, John Herdman, “What a performance by Saint-Laurent, they were outstanding. Hell of an atmosphere. Loved it, it felt like a proper cup match. 6,000 tickets sold. A lot for Saint-Laurent to be proud of tonight.”
