SOCCER SCHOOL (EDS)

Recreational Program

EDS provides a fun, inclusive, and skill-building soccer experience for children aged 4 to 16. From beginners to experienced players, every child will gain from our hands-on coaching. This recreational soccer program is open to girls (F) and boys (M) of all levels.

Before the start of the season, it is important to review the information below to fully understand the program’s rules and conditions. This step helps ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Participants aged 4 to 16 are grouped according to their age to ensure tailored learning and optimal development. Guided by qualified technical staff and certified coaches, players benefit from a positive training environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and respect for the game.

Each session skillfully combines fun activities, games, and stimulating challenges to keep participants motivated and engaged. Small-sided games are a key part of our approach, providing players with numerous opportunities to apply what they’ve learned in real game situations — an ideal setting to foster creativity and decision-making on the field.

Introductory Phase (4 to 6 year olds)

  • Development of basic motor skills.

  • Introduction to fundamental soccer techniques through fun and varied activities.

  • Focus on enjoyment and building self-confidence.

Fundamental Phase (7 to 10 year olds)

  • Continued development of basic skills with increased emphasis on technique.

  • Introduction to basic tactical concepts such as positioning, collaboration, and team play.

  • Use of small-sided games to encourage decision-making and improve game understanding.

Development Phase (11 to 16 year olds)

  • Refinement of technical skills and enhancement of tactical awareness.

  • Introduction to more advanced game strategies.

  • Greater emphasis on physical preparation, discipline, and performance in match situations.

Participants are automatically placed in the appropriate age group. The Wednesday and Sunday sessions are intended for children in the U4 to U10 categories (born between 2021 and 2015). The Saturday sessions are for children in the U8 to U16 categories (born between 2017 and 2009). Age groups are determined by subtracting the participant’s birth year from the current year.
