CDC DEVELOPMENT
For over a decade, Soccer Canada has championed the implementation of programs that prioritize player development at the club level. Since May 2020, Soccer Quebec has made such programs mandatory for clubs seeking accreditation. This framework, known as the Club Development Center (CDC), focuses on players aged 4 to 12 and has a dual mission: to offer high-quality training to all players—regardless of skill level—while fostering a safe and enjoyable environment for growth. Central to the CDC’s philosophy is the belief that players thrive when they’re having fun, which is why equal attention and opportunities are given to every athlete to help them reach their full potential.
